Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Dutch Auto Auctions, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.

Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Add a valid credit card to your account (required for bidding)
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer, you agree to:

• Freeze prices only when you intend to purchase
• Complete payment within the specified timeframe after confirming purchase
• Review all vehicle details, photos, and seller information before purchasing
• Coordinate vehicle pickup or delivery arrangements with the seller
• Understand that all sales are final once confirmed

Seller Responsibilities

As a seller, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful vehicle information
• Upload clear, recent photos showing the actual vehicle condition
• Disclose any known defects, accidents, or issues
• Honor the sale price when a buyer freezes and confirms purchase
• Complete the transaction and arrange vehicle transfer as agreed

Fees and Payments

Sellers pay a commission only when their vehicle sells. Buyers' credit cards are charged automatically upon purchase confirmation. All fees are clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. We use secure payment processors to protect your financial information.

Auction Process

Our Dutch auction format starts prices high and decreases over time. When a buyer freezes a price, they have 2 minutes to confirm the purchase. Once confirmed, the transaction is binding. If a seller's reserve price is not met, they are under no obligation to sell.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Manipulate auctions or interfere with the bidding process
• Use the platform for any illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent fees or payment systems
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users

Limitation of Liability

Dutch Auto Auctions acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for the condition of vehicles, accuracy of listings, or disputes between buyers and sellers. We facilitate transactions but do not guarantee vehicle condition or seller performance. All transactions are between the buyer and seller.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time through your account settings.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of our platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
